Super editing looks particularly to correct complex or highly specialty specific medical terms, medication names, obvious dosage or dictation errors. When there is genuine doubt about what the client has said during dictation, the super editor "flags" a report. A "flag" on a report requires the dictator/client (or his designee) to review and fill in the flagged blank within the returned document, before it is considered complete.
The super editors also perform quality improvement audits and work to achieve 100% accuracy and quality document output.
